This amazingly unique, rare and beautiful Sterling Silver buckle is designed to fit an 1.5 (38mm) belt strap. This buckle was commissioned over twenty years ago by the General Merchandise Division of Harley-Davidson. Only 6 of them were ever developed and made.

So only 6 of them exist in the whole world. Which makes them very, very rare, desirable and collectable. These buckles were never adopted for production, as the retail price points were deemed to expensive. The 6 samples were manufactured in downtown Los Angeles, California by a company employing master silversmiths. The company continues to operate today. Skilfully Manufactured employing the lost wax process, this buckle is simply astounding. The quality is superb and the attention to detail is impressive. It's a solid, heavy Sterling Silver casting weighing 218 Grams. The buckle is shaped as a Bar&Shield and has finely detailed gothic inspired scrollwork inlaid. The back of the buckle is Hallmarked 925 and has the official Harley-Davidson Bar&Shield logo.
